The Tigers reached to the finals of the Planet Cup, where they would oppose Helghan United on their home soil. The team were denied entry to New Helghan by aggressive Helghast border guards, and were unable to participate in the finals. Due to their absence, Helghan United were declared winner by walkover. The Tigers' coach, Jack Benton, publicly accused the border guards for deliberately allowing Helghan United to win.[1]
