Killzone: Shadow Fall recently released a patch with several fixes and enhancements as has been usual, however in the patch notes it mentioned support for a new dlc map. While the developers have never officially commented on it it has been discovered that when loading up a match and looking at the game mode details, the new map can be found listed alongside the others, and will be called "The Canyon."
As with all dlc maps this should be free. No word yet on a release date.Read more >
Today the first two free dlc maps for Killzone: Shadow Fall have been revealed to be "The Cruiser" and "The Hanger." The Cruiser is fit for close-to-midrange combat, while The Hanger is will be more open. No release date is yet known but we should get one rather soon.
For season pass owners the first of the non-free multiplayer expansion packs is still being worked on but no other details have yet been released.

As an interesting move, Guerrilla games decided to not make one main protagonist, but four protagonists all of equal rights to the main protagonist throne, and it's up to the player who they want to play as. This is a feature I actually really liked, a…

I've gotten my PS4 and I've had my first game, Killzone: Shadow Fall. I was unfamiliar with the Killzone series other then basic information on it, and now I will share my thoughts on the latest game.
For others like me I imagine the story of Shadow Fall may be a little hard to follow, and it was a couple of times, but ultimately I was able to make sense of it, which was especially helped by the presence of audio logs and newspapers to find. In terms of the shooter launch line-up for PS4 I think I can safely say this has the most well-written story mode of the three, the other two games being Ghosts and Battlefield 4.
There were some spots here and there where I felt the dialogue didn't impress me, such as a moment where a rather tragic thing h…
