Helghast Assault is the first level of Killzone.
Plot[]
The Helghast launched a surprise invasion of planet Vekta. With all communications to Vekta High Command cut off, Captain Jan Templar attempt to return to ISA headquarters and get in contact with someone in charge.
Templar fights his way through trenches and bunkers before making his way into the city. After fighting Helghast forces, Templar is reunited with General Bradley Vaughton, who informs about the SD Platform's shutdown and his plans to restore the defense network. As Helghast forces assault the HQ, Vaughton sends Templar to find Gregor Hakha, an infield agent.
