Hooper

Corporal Hooper is a ISA soldier in Killzone 3.

Biograhy[]

He first appears bringing a HAMR IFV for Sev and Rico to use in the convoy. He later appears with the remaining ISA group in the Kaznan Jungle when they are in hiding. Captain Narville is trying to convince him to eat and fight for his little sister at home.

Hooper is also the Engineer who is trying to deactivate Stahl's nuclear petrusite defense grid in the mission "Scrapyard Shortcut". Hooper does not speak until Captain Narville mentions his sister back at Vekta while they are still hiding at the Kaznan Jungle.

Show: Hooper's Diet
Narville: "Hey, Hooper. Your friends tell me you're not eating. You got a kid sister back on Vekta, right?" Hooper: "How would you even know that?" Narville: "I've been in touch with Earth Command the past few months, you know that. Traded some favors. A friend of mine snuck through personal messages from home. Remember why you're here and I promise that I'll get you back, Deal?" (Narville walks off) Narville: "Make sure he eats."

Sev: "Jammer! Hooper! MOVE!" Rico: "Jammer. Are you there? Jammer. Respond!" Jammer: "What did I tell you guys about leaving before the explosions start?" Hooper: "Guys, looks like we'll be coming up on the space station in a second." Sev: "Oh my god." Jammer: "I'm not hearing any comm traffic." Rico: "We took out the whole fleet." Jammer: "I mean nothing. The entire planet is silent." Sev: "Jesus, how many people were down there?"

Trivia[]

Rico, Hooper and Sev seem to understand the Helghan alphabet. As elite special forces, it is likely they studied the language before taking part in the invasion of Helghan. Their knowledge was likely bolstered during the six months they spent surviving on the planet following the ISA's failed evacuation.
In the novel Killzone: Ascendancy, he has a wife and two daughters.
