Interception is the ninth and final level of Killzone 3.

Plot[]

As the ISA soldiers rides up the space elevator to the space station, Admiral Orlock's ship docks with the station. After Orlock disembark, an Helghast trooper informs him about the ISA in which Orlock brushes off and is entirely focus on Jorhan Stahl.

Orlock and Stahl soon meet with each other. The former orders the chairman to surrender to his custody and turning over his weapons to his army. But Stahl has other plans. Stahl was already aware of Orlock's plans to kill him and has his new weaponry to destroy Orlock's space cruisers. Stahl eventually kills Orlock with a StA-5X Arc Cannon before heading to his flagship.

Sev, Rico, and Jammer fights their way through the station and hijacking Strike Fighters. After Captain Narville secured a ship for his men to escape Helghan, the three used the Strike Fighters to pursue Stahl as he makes his way to his ship. An intense space battle follows, but Stahl boards his ship and prepares to warp to Earth. Sev and Rico stops Stahl from attacking Earth by destroying the cruiser's warp coil thus disabling the vessel.

Stahl frantically tries to land the cruiser from crashing into Helghan's surface, but Sev and Rico use a Petrusite missile to utterly destroy his cruiser. The resulting Petrusite explosion causes a massive chain reaction on Helghan which decimates the planet and its people. The ISA team are left in shock from witnessing the devastation in which Sev wonders how many people were killed.

After the ISA made their return to Vekta, on devastated Helghan two Stahl Arms soldiers recover an escape pod from Stahl's ship. Once the pod opens, the soldiers greets the passenger "Welcome home, sir."
