The Vektan Embassy was located on the planet Helghan in Pyrrhus City.

Description[]

The Embassy consists of a atrium, waiting room and reception booths for processing of visas; private offices containing confidential documents and was staffed by both Helghast and Vektan personnel.[1]

Accessible through the private offices are the Ambassador's Residence, the living quarters for the Vektan Ambassador and his family on the top floor, together with the Ambassador's private office. It comprises a lobby area for receptions and other diplomatic functions, decorated with Vektan artifacts. Leading from the Ambassador's Residence is an enclosed courtyard decorated with foliage imported from Vekta, which is used for recreation and entertaining guests. The courtyard conceals an elevator access to the private docks below the Embassy.[1]

History[]

The Ambassador of the Embassy was Sepp Harkin, who lived there with his wife Valeria Harkin, and his son Justus Harkin. During the outbreak of the Second Extrasolar War, Ambassador Harkin and his family were placed under house arrest by the Helghast government.

Shortly prior to Operation Archangel, Dr. Mandor Savic came to the Embassy to sought his request for political asylum. By the time the ISA invaded Helghan, Helghast forces under Colonel Vyktor Kratek attacked the Embassy to capture Savic and Justus Harkin, who had been injected with a plasmid trigger by Savic, which had the potential to activate the deadly Eschaton Virus. Harkin and his family were defended by their Helghast bodyguard Boris.

Phantom Talon Corp mercenary Arran Danner was sent to the Embassy to rescue Harkin, his family, and Savic. However, Harkin and his wife were killed. Savic fled during the fight. Danner escaped the Embassy with Justus while Boris died fighting against Kratek's soldiers.[2]

The Embassy later fell under ISA control. ISA Admiral Alex Grey brought Savic there to be interrogated for the location of the Eschaton Virus. Danner returned to the Embassy to free Savic and learning the location of Facility X01 to prevent the virus from being use. Danner then fought his way out of the Embassy before Helghast forces arrived and wiped out the ISA.[3]
